Ruthin & Denbigh Gymnastics Club

Creating a club that feels easier to run

Creating a More Connected Club

Ruthin & Denbigh Gymnastics Club has been part of the local community in North Wales for many years, growing from a small leisure-centre programme into a busy purpose-built gymnastics facility supporting more than 300 active members.

As the club evolved, owner Tamsin Jones wanted to make sure growth did not come at the expense of the experience families and gymnasts received each week. The goal was not simply to support more members, but to create a club environment that still felt organised, welcoming and manageable as demand increased.

Today, the club feels far more settled day to day. Families are better informed, processes feel more consistent, and there is more space to focus on coaching, supporting gymnasts and continuing to develop the club.

Rebuilding the week around what matters most

Like many growing gymnastics clubs, Ruthin & Denbigh had gradually built its processes over time. As more classes, members and communication were added, keeping everything connected behind the scenes became increasingly difficult.

Much of the responsibility sat with Tamsin, often leaving very little separation between coaching during the day and trying to keep up with everything else afterwards. The club needed a way of working that felt more sustainable as membership continued to grow.

Since introducing Thrive4Gymnastics, much of that pressure has eased. Everyday tasks no longer rely on constant checking and manual follow-up, which has helped create more structure and breathing room across the club.

That shift immediately saved around 20 hours each week, with further improvements continuing to make the week feel more manageable overall.

Helping families stay informed without the chasing

As the club rebuilt following COVID, maintaining strong communication with families became even more important.

Parents needed clear updates, reassurance and consistent information during a period where classes, schedules and guidance were changing regularly. Having a more connected way to communicate helped the club stay close to families and maintain that sense of community during uncertain periods.

Families can now move through registrations, updates and enquiries more smoothly, helping the overall experience feel clearer and easier to navigate from the moment they join the club.

The result has been a stronger sense of connection between the club and its families, while reducing the amount of chasing and uncertainty behind the scenes.

Creating stronger roots for long-term growth

For Ruthin & Denbigh Gymnastics Club, the biggest difference has not simply been saving time. It has been creating a club environment that feels more sustainable, more organised and less reactive as the club continues to grow.

The club now operates with greater confidence across memberships, communication and planning, while maintaining the welcoming community atmosphere that families value.

For Tamsin, that has meant more time and energy can go back into the areas that matter most: supporting gymnasts, developing the club and continuing to create positive experiences for families across the community.

Thrive4Gymnastics has allowed me to grow the business, become more efficient and get my life back.
