More time for what matters most

For Emma Smith, Director and Head Coach at Thanet Gymnastics Club, no two days are ever the same. Alongside planning and delivering the coaching programme, developing classes and mentoring coaches, she also looks after registrations and membership forms, British Gymnastics affiliations, class availability, timetables, waiting lists, member records and communication with parents.

Juggling all of that alongside coaching has always been one of the biggest challenges of running a busy community gymnastics club. Since introducing Thrive4Gymnastics, the team has been able to spend less time on repetitive day-to-day tasks and more time doing what they love – supporting gymnasts and continuing to grow the club.

Using Thrive4Gymnastics has already reduced our workload and made managing the club much easier.

More time where it matters most

One of the biggest differences for the Thanet Gymnastics team has been getting valuable coaching time back.

As the club became busier, coaches were often stepping away from the gym floor to deal with registrations, paperwork, payments and questions from parents. It meant they could still keep in touch with families, but it also meant less time spent with the children during sessions.

Now, those everyday jobs take far less time. There's no need to rely on paper registers or spend hours producing letters, photocopying documents, or writing individual emails. Communication with parents is quicker and more consistent, leaving the coaching team free to spend more time where they want to be – on the gym floor with their gymnasts.

Ready to say yes to growth

As Thanet Gymnastics continued to grow, so did everything that came with it. Every new member meant more registrations, more communication and more to keep on top of behind the scenes. The team knew they needed a better way to manage that growth without adding more pressure or taking coaches away from the gym floor.

Now, there's confidence that the club has the right foundations in place for the future. The team is also looking ahead, with plans to make even more of what Thrive4Gymnastics offers as the club continues to expand.

We know there are many more features available within the platform, and we are actively looking at developing a team who can help us make the most of everything it offers as the club continues to grow.

Supporting families every step of the way

The benefits haven't just been felt by the coaching team. Parents have noticed the difference too.

Families have more flexibility too, with simple self-service tools that make it easier to manage memberships and stay connected with the club. Communication with parents is more consistent and professional, helping everything run more smoothly for everyone involved.

The move to monthly rolling Direct Debit payments has also made life easier for the club. Instead of spending coaching time collecting payments at reception, fees are collected automatically, creating a more reliable income stream while reducing the time spent chasing payments or processing cash.

Support that keeps the club moving forward

For the Thanet Gymnastics team, it's not just the day-to-day improvements that stand out. Having ongoing support has been just as valuable.

Whenever questions come up, there's someone on hand to help. More importantly, the support has been about building confidence too, taking the time to guide the team through the platform so they can continue getting the most from it as the club grows.

Today, the Thanet Gymnastics team has more time to invest in coaching, greater confidence in the way the club operates and the right foundations to keep growing. That means more time and energy can be spent where it matters most, giving every gymnast the best possible experience and helping the club look ahead with confidence.
